MY STORY
I’m thrilled to share the incredible story of how I met my husband, Steven, in vibrant San Antonio, Texas, back in 2000! Fresh off earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Tourist Business Administration in Mexico, I dove into English studies at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) right in downtown San Antonio. Meanwhile, Steven, a dedicated Navy linguist, was also at UNAM learning Spanish—talk about perfect timing as we learned each other’s languages! After two amazing years of romance, we tied the knot and launched into a life filled with military travel and adventure!
My love for wine skyrocketed during an unforgettable tour at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California! I had the chance to explore the amazing Napa Valley, the stunning California Central Coast, and the incredable Paso Robles vineyards. Then a thrilling tour at the Naval Base in Bahrain in the Middle East opened my eyes to incredible wineries in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, South Africa, and Australia. Today, I’m thrilled to say I’ve visited over 40 countries and savored wines from some of the best wine regions on the planet!
As Steven neared retirement, I reflected on all of the exciting adventures we had throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East! For two incredible decades, I traveled the world by his side, inspired by his steadfast commitment and passion for serving our country. I felt truly fortunate, as my passion for travel photography blossomed alongside his career, giving me the chance to see the globe!
In 2020 Steve retired and we moved to the Texas Hill Country with the intent to live out my dream and spend as much time at the Hill Country wineries as possible. While I have been giving tours to friends and family for over 20 years, I’ve decided to bring my worldly experiences back to Texas! After his retirement, I was thrilled to jump into the tourism industry and start a small luxury tour company specializing in Texas Hill Country wine tours. I love the breathtaking wineries in Texas and couldn't wait to introduce this beautiful wine region to travelers everywhere!
We are completely immersed in the Texas viticulture and gastronomy scene. Not only do we know the local wineries but also the local sites, scenes and more importantly the finest dining venues in the area. I am absolutely dedicated to making each tour a special experience for each guest. Have no doubt you will be treated like family!
